Gramin Vikas Sansthan

The headquarters of Gramin Vikas Sansthan is situated at Bachhrawan town of Rae Bareli district. The head office is equipped with necessary office, communication, transport and training equipments. These include computers, telephones, auto vehicles, projector, overhead projector, audio-visual equipment, puppets and folk media equipment.

Human resource base of GVS consists of 22 full time paid staff, with varied experience. The full time staffers hail from varied backgrounds, like social work, rural development and forestry management. In addition there about 100 volunteers, who contribute their time and get actively involved in the organisation's activities. These volunteers are very active at the community level.

GVS lays particular emphasis on capacity building of the staff. For this a number of training are organised at the organisational level from time to time.
