Vision

Attainment of a healthy and self reliant community through a process of a nurturing integration, unity and peace

Mission

Empowerment of vulnerable families, especially women, through health, education, HIV and AIDS prevention and micro finance so that they are able to achieve higher level of self-reliance and match mainstream of the society.

Approach

The approach adopted by GVS is to promote participation directly and involve the community through better rapport building, awareness building, training and organising the community. GVS believes that the rural poor are capable of determining and building their future, provided that they are supported and facilitated properly.

Interview

Secondly GVS establishes a relationship with the community as a facilitator. Facilitating different backward communities and women groups to take care. GVS works with dalit communities, women and children of backward communities. At present GVS works in two ways one is directly involving the community members as beneficiaries focusing on women, children and youths.
