For Gramin Vikas Sansthan education is a term of wide meaning. It means educating different segments of the target group and not educating children in formal or non-formal schools. Educational activities are mainly targeted at women, Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes and Minorities.

The most common and widely used tool of educating the target group is folk media communication. The organisation has a full-fledged communication team of local people. It stages performances for the target group all over the operational area from time to time.

Apart from this, the organisation publishes posters, pamphlets and distributes them among the target people. Wall writings and wall paintings are also carried out to educate the target group about different concurrent issues. Fairs, camps, training and workshops are another mean of educating the target people.

Recently the organisation has successfully used video van to educate the people about the threat of HIV/AIDS.
